Return & Refund Policy

At Odisha on Platter, every jar of pickle is handcrafted in small batches with the utmost care and quality. Due to the perishable nature of food products and for hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on food items once they have been delivered.

Returns

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Opened or used products

  • Change of mind after delivery

  • Taste or personal preference

  • Incorrect orders placed by the customer

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive:

  • A damaged product

  • A leaking or broken jar

  • An incorrect item

  • A product that is expired or appears defective

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your Order ID

  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

After verification, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A free replacement

  • A full refund

  • Store credit

Refund Process

Once your request is approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be made via bank transfer or UPI after the required account details are provided.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled only before they are processed or dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened food products

  • Products with damaged seals after delivery

  • Gift boxes or promotional items

  • Products purchased during clearance or special sale events (unless damaged or incorrectly delivered)

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return or refund is due to our error, such as:

  • Wrong product shipped

  • Damaged product

  • Manufacturing defect
